Could this be due to Richmond Road’s propensity for flooding?

It’s like the land that planners forgot down there - the original “mixed-use” location. Residential, light industrial, retail, wholesalers, a football stadium… and the worst road surface this side of the Liffey.

EDIT to add - and Leisure Facilities too, Ierne club is right behind Richmond Road! I think the only thing it’s missing is an incinerator!

Very true. There is also a school, a psychiatric hospital and a convent.

It also has Fagans, St. Lukes and a fucking absolute bollix in close vicinity.
