Looks like myhome has not been upated. Can people please reply to this post verifying (“VERIFIED”) the myhome price. This will provide a historical account (if and when the myhome price changes)
Thanks. Hopefully we can get other people to watch other areas (Ongar, Clonee, Clonsilla, Blanch, Citywest etc). I hate to give the impression that it is only Lucan experiencing problems.
I’ve been looking at the price of two bed apartments in Blanchardstown for the last few months and two apartments in particular.
I see that the same apartments are still advertised for sale at the same prices and not moving. The number of apartments for sale in the area stays static and prices do not change.
I believe the estate agents are reluctant to drop asking prices because they won the clients business months ago on the basis of the sale prices they believed they could achieve and suggesting to their clients that they should drop their asking price makes the Agent look bad.
Maybe they got too many offers at 495 (if there is such a thing), or that a potential bidder saw this entry, and tried to use it to their advantage by saying that he knew they were under pressure, or that husband and wife disagreed and gave EA conflicting info.
