21 Castlepark Road, Sandycove/Dalkey (-275k, -15.3%)

Was asking €635k (£500k) in 2000
irishtimes.com/newspaper/pro … index.html
“Withdrawn €794k (£625k), sold after higher price”
independent.ie/unsorted/prop … 75061.html

After “remodelling”, now €1.8m
irishtimes.com/newspaper/pro … 73325.html
€812/sq foot

What a ridiculous price for this house!!! And afaik its north facing too.

I cannot believe that across the road, what used to be a good sized bungalow, has been knocked down to 2 semis, the houses dont look that great at all. There is no way that are worth €1.9. One is reserved - supposedly!

They all need a reality check!

44 & 44A are now asking 1.75m

Castlepark Road, Sandycove. Not Dalkey.
This is clearly a new wheeze.
You price it at a ridiculous level and then drop the price fairly promptly and some idiot down the road thinks they are getting a bargain with a big percentage drop of a ludicrous price in the first place.
The agents are at it again.
Roll up roll up for yet another ‘bargain’

If I remember right, the Dalkey side of Castlepark Road is in Dalkey, the Sandycove side is in Sandycove, the boundary runs down the middle.

Amazing, mind blowing/altering architecture, for three bedrooms, wow, a lifetime of debt surely worth every penny blah blah blah!

Very 2006, a semi for 1,750k, or 1.75m,

Suspect we will still see this thread in about 10 years

Not on the price register, so must not have sold in 2010.

Now 1.525m
