23 St Fintan's Park, Deansgrange

Just looking for any feedback on this. I am interested in the proximity to schools (ET and Newpark). I am aware that a lot of work is required but that is ok. I like the size downstairs, could live with the terrace and only one bathroom. Haven’t yet verified the real orientation of the garden. Any thoughts?

It appears from streetview that the back garden is south (ish) facing

It doesn’t look like it needs a lot of work apart from a bit of decorating and landscaping out the back. Kitchen extension looks recent enough - the units could probably be updated. Garden is a decent size, not overlooked at the back and looks to be south-facing. Seems like a quiet part of this estate, which I think dates back to the 1930s. The overall area is excellent, plenty of shops a short stroll away (including LIDL and Supervalue.)

House is sale agreed according to the agent.

290k for a council house. Did Providence Resources find oil in the back garden?

but it’s not just any old council house it’s in Blackrock dahling…

Well, it’s trying to pretend to be in Blackrock. To me that would be Deansgrange.

Some might even say “dead centre”…I’ll get my coat.

You really are digging your own grave with these bad jokes.

Ba boom tish!
