thats 1250 a sq ft for 6000 sq ft

Now 4.75 Mil, down over 50%

myhome.ie/residential/brochu … n-2/203612

557 sq metres = 5995 sq feet

4,750,000 / 5995 = €792 per sq ft

At €500 per sq ft, the price would be just shy of €3,000,000.

I’d say they may get 2.5 Mil for it.

“Kelly has now told agent Sherry FitzGerald to drop the price to €4.5m.”
“The contents of the house are also for sale, so for the right price, someone could move straight in.”
irishtimes.com/newspaper/pro … 01123.html

Expect Sherry Fitz to leap into action and update the price on the myhome.ie site within a few short weeks.

Obviously a spectacular property, but I am somewhat nonplussed as to who exactly would be a prospective purchaser. I can’t really think of a profile of OO who’d go for it, other than perhaps a single billionaire-about-town. Not many of them around nowadays. And for a commercial buyer, presumably there isn’t PP for office usage nor would it make sense anyway given the massive number of office space for rent all around this area. There must be 20 To Let signs on Fitzwilliam Street alone. So it would really not surprise me if the price dropped another 50%. I know that sounds extreme, but I think it’s possible.

“Under offer”

The contents (furniture, art, antiques, some designer clothes) are being auctioned on Tuesday 21st June by Adam’s, catalogue online adams.ie. Opening viewing today, tomorrow and Monday. I had a quick look around and would say it’s well worth a gander for how the other half live.

is this sale agreed? - it’s still listed on myhome and Knight Frank

Isabel sneaks a peek at the auction:

Who knew it was possible to accumulate so much stuff.

Some nice things there if you like regency furniture and knick knacks - some of the art and the silverware didn’t look bad value

Its asking almost three times the price of this comparable property:

Exactly and its a great house-the difference is it didn’t get a big write up in IT

obviously not in as good location/condition but still relevant
