You gotta love it. If you can’t sell it for 645k ask for another 50k…yeah that works :unamused:

#3

i dunno, there might be something different going on here. I viewed this house back in Jan when it came on the market. Agent rang me a week or so later to say they had an offer at the asking price of €645k, would i be interested in bidding higher, eh no thanks.

70% of a million euros, no front or back garden to speak of, terraced, a strange configuration of upstairs and downstairs reception rooms, a kitchen that seems seriously lacking in a food preparation area or place to rest a baked cake on, a very small downstairs WC and oddly 2 shower rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor (which I presume have toilets in them!!) but may not even have a bath - the brochure says “shower rooms” when it could easily have said “bathrooms”. *Is there a bath in the house??? *It’s also quite a stroll from this block if you want a pint of milk out on Milltown Road.

Mt. St. Anne’s is a most peculiar affair. Astronomical prices consistently for years now and yet there never seems to be a glut of properties for sale or rent. Perhaps the fact that most of these places must be in NE explains that, as does apartment lending criteria presumably.

this place reminds me of Adamstown. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

+1 and what pray tell is a “Servie Charge”?

#7

Quite a stroll?? It’s about 450 meters. At least there’s a cafe by the shop so if the walk leaves you exhausted you can stop for a break before starting into the hike back.
