Now 239k

I checked this out on google street view and it’s pretty cramped so I can see why it is 239k but it is a nice house - not my cup of tea and the lack of off street parking would be a pain but otherwise I think the price is getting there !!!

To be fair there is no lack of off street parking. The drive would easily take 2 cars.

The driveway would take 2 cars indeed but not all driveways around the house would - so their probably going to have a car parked on the side of the road… If you’ve guests then they’ve no parking because it’s on the bend!

Maybe it wouldn’t bother some people but it would turn me off…

Sale Agreed:

This house seems to be back on My Home so don’t know if its sale agreed or not.
It looks like a good buy and i’m thinking of putting in an offer.
Any opinions?

Check out opinions on Ballycragh because you’ll be looking out your sitting room window into it…

To be fair, no you won’t. You’ll be looking out your window onto a fairly nice green, with kids playing etc.

There’s a 10 foot wall between Oldcourt Manor and Ballycragh/Allenton, and I’d say the residents of Oldcourt Manor could go their entire lives without being influenced by anything going on over the wall.

YMMV etc.

A green at first and then a wall + terraced council houses… Ballycragh hasn’t the best rep in all fairness… I’d prefer to be a little further away but then again everyones different…

Price reduction down to €221,950

As a lifelong resident if ballycragh ill just honestly say don’t buy a home here if you have kids because although the area is not as bad as it used to be it has plenty of drug problems and anti-social behaviour going on day in day out. Yeah Theres a wall between Allenton and oldcourt manor but oldcourt manor is still part of ballycragh and it gets its fair share of houses robbed, windows smashed, and it has few junkies/scum living in it. All of Tallaght not only ballycragh is not the best place to raise kids but it would be a good spot for a young/ single person to live because the square is a 15-20 min walk or 3 minute bus journey and it has and small shopping centres nearby bus stops etc.

Oh and the green is not ‘fairly nice’ either it has burn marks, rubbish and a big abandoned house with spiked railings around it. Just being honest from a lifelong resident of ballycragh

Sold for 200K!
