75% LTV loans for apartments outside Dublin?

Plus some of the new mortgage limitations whereby the bank will only provide 80% of the principal for apartments as opposed to 90% for houses is a further nail in the coffin of such inflated apartment prices.

Talked to somebody who works in Halifax yesterday and they mentioned the 90% LTV for houses and 80% for apartments but what really got my attention was an extra bit
“75% for apartments outside Dublin”
I haven’t heard anything about this so maybe my mate is wrong or it just hasn’t filtered through yet.
Anybody else heard anything like this?
