Bargaining with appointed receiver?

I have seen a number of housing estates where receivers are appointed to sell off properties in a fire sale approach with knock down prices.

While the buying public don’t deal directly with the receiver they are greeted by the estate agent who no doubt is telling them of the bargain prices etc etc

My question is whether there is much scope for negotiating with the EA on these types of properties (is there another 10%+ to be saved)?

Money talks bull stuff walks
Go to the source
pass go
dont pay if you dont have to
dont get 8- 8-

First of all where have you seen many firesales (in US, i presume). In Ireland, all firesales up to date were merely true reflection of current market price and not fire by any means.

Recievers usually don’t deal with independent properties. Yes ! if you have millions in cash and want to buy 10-5 houses in lot, they might be interested. Its the way markets work.
