Hi guy’s
Well here’s my story so far") myself and partner bought a 3 bed ground floor apt in (2008) in Adamstown now back in 2010 when we had the really bad weather the top apt over our’s pipes burst! This is the third time we’ve had the these guy’s around with the same problem, they replaced my floor’s that were damaged due to leak’s and i call them out the last time was on the 7th of march i’ve had a humidifier in the room the past 5 weeks and so far we’ve taken at least 8 full bucket’s of water out! there was 3 different lad’s that came into my home to tell me that the problem was not from the leak in 2010 but from condensation!! lol i know that there’s no way in this world that its condensation… anyway’s my wall unit was covered in mould because of the dampness and because i have a very young baby that’s in the room with me i had to get rid of the unit. Also we had shoes and clothes that were in the back of the unit that was covered in mould now i had to get rid of them because they were ruined… i have pics of everything that’s happened and i e-mailed them to castle thorn and i was told that it’s not there problem and to claim of my content’s insurance i told them 1st of all it’s not my problem and i don’t have insurance money is tight as it is… so I’ve been back and forward with them and they wont reply to any of my e-mails i still have the humidifier in my home they are looking for it back and i said im not giving it back till i get my unit replaced…
As iv’e taken picture’s of what happened in 2010 and also with the black mould and i have them all saved
all i want is for them to replace my unit… it’s so not fair im after speaking to solicitor’s about this and they said as long as i have proof i have a case, it’s such a pity as i thought there was some good people in construction but how wrong was i ???
I even had to get them to bring a water moisture reader to check the wall and it came up 75% that’s how bad the water was in the wall
