Shall we compare mythologies

Tokyo reported 501 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, a worrying rise from the 440 cases logged last week and the 487 on June 2 and the first time above 500 in nearly two weeks.

…The capital’s average daily tally of new cases in the week to Wednesday stood at 384.6, compared with 401.6 a week earlier. The number of severely ill patients under the metropolitan government’s criteria, meanwhile, came to 45, the same as the previous day. The capital also confirmed 12 coronavirus-linked deaths.

While noting the falling number of infections, the advisory panel also said strong concerns remain about new cases possibly bouncing back in Tokyo and other parts of the country amid a rise in the number of people returning to entertainment districts.

…Ten prefectures, including Tokyo, are now under the government’s coronavirus state of emergency, while five others are under quasi-emergency measures. Both designations are currently set to expire on Sunday.

Ireland news today:

A further 320 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed by the National Public Health Emergency Team (Nphet).

Maybe it’s not like for like, well it’s not obviously, since Tokyo is somewhat over double Irelands population, but the Tokyo greater area is over 7 times the population of Ireland and yet, they only have 181 more “new cases” than the Republic of Provid.

Japan has approx. 25 times the population of Ireland in total.

As of 2021, the prefecture has an estimated population of 13,960,236.[4] The Greater Tokyo Area is the most populous metropolitan area in the world, with more than 37.393 million residents as of 2020.[5]

Notably not one mention of any injection in that JT article and here is the kicker.

Let the magical sink in.

Always remember that Tokyo doesn’t have a pipeline of Moldovan Granny’s coming back and forth. Japan is a responsible country that cares about it’s culture

From January

Japan is actually into it’s 4th peak and recovery.

Note: “vaccination doses” curve is in green, these would be the latest figures, headline injected figures is total doses.

The graphic was taken from this very handy dashboard, the visual equivalent of global measles -

My understanding is any later spread in 2020, was being blamed on pro-china politicians promoting travel into Japan from China and Korea, with over 130,000 or more bodies in to keep the economy going, with no tests or possibly accepting fake test documents. There is mention of other contingent groups like Pakistanis (among some other nationalities) and of problems with them disappearing, i.e. Japanese government not being able to keep track of the individuals.

Some of the information published by the Japanese government since the very beginning is a lot more straight forward and simple, when you compare it to the markerting-propoganda that is passed off as information/media.

The COVID-19 vaccine will be available free of charge.

  • The costs of vaccination for all Japanese nationals and all eligible foreign residents, will be covered in full by public funds.
  • Vaccines will never be administered without the recipient’s consent. We urge the public never to coerce vaccinations at the workplace or upon others around them, and never to treat those who have not received the vaccine in a discriminatory manner.

Washing hands properly, is one of the biggest and consistent advisories since the beginning. For those who want to do more an it was suggested a full shower on return to home as an effective PPE method, since possibly one Japanese scientist or advisor indicated the scalp was a harbour for it (any?) pathogens as such.

Afaict, no mask mandates but advice to wear them, which is a cultural norm if you are sick / have the sniffles, but there is growing resistance and worry form mothers with regards to children on this front.

Certainly from my understanding the rush to inject and rely on it as the final solution, was not promoted, things may have turned more recently as pressure is exerted across the world, but what I understand is in 2020 the Japanese made it clear they realised it would require 3 injection per year to be effective if, and that it was not going to be pursued. So when the “booster” form Pfizer was announced, this was not surprising, if you were privy to early info out of Japan.

The Japanese may be working more toward a host of own home grown solutions in other areas, like therapeutics broadly speaking. I think their tac has been to get everyone immunes stems tippy-top shape.

I’ve even seen it suggested Green Tea was an effective protection against virus (the average person may diners 2-25L of the active Green tea ingredient as it is also in many other convenient beverages), and it may turn out black tea, as we drink in the west is even more effective. Not much coverage of that in the western media eh.

I’m sure Barry’s tea would love to claim the cure like.

All in all it’s some what ironic that the bacterial source of Ivermectin was discovered on a Japanese golf course and that they may not be using it, but I’m waiting for more info on that front.

No Fly Zone

Meant to post about the rumours that appeared a few weeks ago. They didn’t seem to lead anywhere specific - Now we have this

Sky News: Airlines are addressing the problem of blood clots and are recommending VACCINATED people not to fly due to latest scientific insights and possible lawsuits.

Video @ Src:

The Sky is the Limit

HUGE … 3 British Airways pilots have DIED of the COxxVID vaxxine in the past 7-days, and BA are now in crisis talks with the UK Government about whether or not their vaxxinated pilots should be allowed to fly.

85% of all British Airways pilots have already been vaxxinated.

Audio @ Src:

The Sky is the Limit

The actual number is 4 BA has approx 4500 pilots Reuters says its bollox (not the Deaths) however upon reading between the lines of a tweet posted by a BA head one would wonder.

The Sky is the Limit

Oh yea, the speed of the fact-checking debunkers on the BA tweet was noted in almost tandem stride. :ninja:

The sky news report looks like it points to the possible origin of the previous internet rumours. It’s grown legs a bit. One to watch.

Some indication of the timeline of the “rumour”, this from a month ago.

My own opinion is “ this rumour has been put out by someone who does not want to be vaccinated and wants vaccinated people to experience the same distress of not being accepted on flights”.~

My opinion is it’s plausible that it could be a vicious rumour, an effective one at that as it is not going away, but tbh it’s more plausible to have an element of truth or genuine concern. The idea that people may not be allowed fly may be the OTT aspect, but what if there has been a noted uptick in airborne clotting events?

Clotting is a major concern with this experimental injections, and DVT is a know issue with flying, particularly long haul. It is not hard to imagine Airlines keep serious system and monitoring in place for health events that occur onboard flight, they may have to for legal and insurance reasons, they would I assume continually monitor their risk profile in this respect and they have to keep staff who receive some triangular to deal with inflight health events. A small mention but mention none the less of “gaslighting” the flip flopping of every detail is a hall mark of this total event. Often designed to break you down, confuse and disorientate.

They may even share and collate data from time to time. The flight is a bit off a closed system for a period.

Nor is it like the skies have been empty, the very opposite, the airways looked just as busy this year, with the exception of Ireland the outlier.

It means that the flu is now causing more deaths than coronavirus, suggesting that lockdowns and the vaccine rollout has helped stop the spread.

During the summer months flu had overtaken Covid several times as the biggest killer in England and Wales.

Then as the second wave of the virus started to take hold, Covid started to creep up once again.

:face_with_thermometer: How did the “flu” disappear then eh?

“suggesting that lockdowns and the vaccine rollout has helped stop the spread.”

This implies that ‘lockdowns’ are effective in stopping the spread of one specific type of respiratory virus but not others. How could this possibly be the case? You could argue that it is circumstantial evidence of vaccine efficacy but not for the efficacy of generalised ‘lockdowns’ which would equally affect the transmission of flu.

South Dakota, best lockdown ever! Is no lockdown at all. :icon_eek:

Of all the the US states South Dakota may not have even done the 2 weeks at the start and never locked down.

Gov. Kristi Noem, South Dakota

“As you all might imagine, these last seven months have been quite lonely at times,” Noem said during a special legislative session on Monday. “But earlier this week, one very prominent national reporter sent me a note that said, ‘Governor, if you hadn’t stood against lockdowns, we’d have no proof of just how useless they really have been.’”

Ok so for the craic let look at the graphs:

7 US States Resisted Lockdowns, South Dakota again.

Noem received criticism for not closing the state. One of the groups that criticized her, the South Dakota State Medical Association, did not respond for comment for this story.

The decision to close down activities in other states left people across the country isolated and deprived of social activities. But coming to South Dakota, one of seven states in the country to never issue statewide lockdowns, was a chance for some normalcy, several visitors to the Rushmore State said earlier this month.

“I booked my ticket maybe five days in advance because nothing was open at home,” said Scott Preadmore, who visited the Black Hills in May while his home state of Michigan was under a strict shelter-in-place order.

After landing in Rapid City, he rented a car, took in the tourist sites, spent money at restaurants and bars and got a taste of South Dakota, a place he found charming to the point that he intends to come back regardless of a pandemic.

…That approach to living in the pandemic — letting individuals and organizations dictate their own safety plans rather than a top-down mandate from politicians — appealed to Preadmore and Jewell.

“I appreciate that, not mandating anything but providing your people with education and letting people decide how to handle that,” Preadmore said.

Stringent lockdowns do not reduce casualties, as Peru’s quasi-military lockdown yet high Covid death rate shows. And as you read this, millions of Americans in the states of Florida, Texas, Georgia, South Dakota, South Carolina and Mississippi, are going about their daily business, hugging their loved ones, enjoying a baseball game, socialising in crowds, mainly unmasked. These states have no lockdown restrictions, yet their Covid numbers have dropped dramatically.

View right now is South Dakota never locked down.

Some extra info:

South population is circa 0.9 million, not accounting for any surge of lockdown tourists!

Economic growth is up.
In part due to CARES Act funding/relief:

The state continues to see increasing revenue numbers above the projections Noem shared with the Legislature in December. There was an 11% growth in the state’s ongoing revenue this year, while officials project $8.6 million in ongoing revenue during fiscal year 2022, on top of the previously reported amount of $61 million…

“Remember, not long after the 2008 financial crisis and the resulting federal stimulus funding, our state faced 10% budget cuts to make ends meet. With that recent historical context in mind, we must remain disciplined and save for the future, whatever it may look like,” Noem said. “The fiscal policies that we are seeing from the federal government are not sustainable. South Dakota needs to be prepared for whatever may come.”

Pinsters be all like  no?

…“This is how we set the state up for long-term success. It is important to remember what this number represents. In the past, we have invested money by putting it into trust funds, and today, we have an additional $43 million that we do not take from our people in taxes,” Noem said.

…“Our state motto: “Under God, the people rule,” is an important reminder for all of us here today. Let’s leave this chamber as responsible stewards of the hard-earned taxpayer dollars of the people of South Dakota,” Noem said.

Ireland tells the CMO to stfu…

More words of wisdom from Dr Mengele

From someone who vast scientific knowledge is basically to qualify as a bog standard GP then do a 1 year glorified diploma course in management soon afterwards and then be a back stabbing medical system bureaucrat ever since. The usual route of the totally fucking incompetent in their primary qualification. Any half way competent MD does not go into management so soon after qualifying. The good ones would rather be doing real medicine. Which they would do for a decade or two before going the management route, purely thorough seniority.
