In today’s news, reports of a fire overnight at a property on Ulverton Rd, Dalkey.
Said property was probably “THE PEAK” of the collective madness here. It was a 1,570 sq. ft. 3-bed on some land (albeit a steep hill) which went to auction through Lennox Estates on August 1st, 2006 guiding a mere €1.6m (so the standard €1,000 per sq. ft. Dalkey valuation).
However, in the event, it sold for €4.05m (yes, that figure id not a typo)…see relevant links below.

The shrewd purchaser was a “developer” who gets a good write-up in the piece below - to quote "
Turns out he’s son-in-law of the judge (Charleton) who Pat Kenny had a joust with over a rocky outcrop in the same parish!!
