Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the US

Yes. The fact is that the FBI found otherwise, it decided in Jan 2017 that it was not nefarious contact (it is not unusual for candidates to be in contact with foreign powers and the Logan Act has been enforced selectively - cf. Nominee Obama secured his base in Berlin and to drop the investigation, but Agent Strozk and his lover decided to take advantage of an administrative delay to entrap Flynn in an interview without reading him his rights. That came to light in recent evidence.

Please take the time to read the writ. Its long and detailed.

What is a fact is that the Obama-Biden administration used state security organs to spy on political opponents and for opposition research during and after an election (Carter Page, Flynn, Papadopoulos etc.).

That is worse than Haughey’s GUBU and on a par with Bob Mugabe’s Zimbabwe.

Do you really believe that these guys were Russian assets and part of a conspiracy - a conspiracy that Mueller failed to uncover?

In what capacity was he in contact with kislyak?

Call out to the troops.

I had forgotten about the legal principle of “No Takie Backsies.” Once the extraordinarily corrupt Van Grack Gang had extracted their “confession” that’s it, they’ve won, the “perp” has no legal recourse thereafter, straight to jail.

Look, all of this is just semantics anyways, the game is over. They have been caught. They have all been caught. Anyone who claims that anything other than this is happening, is being wilfully blind. Look at the circumstances. Imagine you weren’t deranged by years of weird anti-Trump propaganda and it is painfully clear.

Intelligent Republicans are condemning Trump’s actions.

Fascinating this story making it to RTE.

Obama slams US leadership over handling of pandemic

The former US President Barack Obama has severely criticised the response to the Covid-19 pandemic ravaging America, in a rare public rebuke of his successor Donald Trump.

His remarks came as he spoke at two virtual commencements for high school and university students locked down instead of celebrating their graduations, a rite of passage every spring in the United States.

“More than anything, this pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they’re doing,” Mr Obama told graduates from several dozen historically black colleges and universities at the first ceremony.

“A lot of them aren’t even pretending to be in charge,” he said as he discussed the implications of the pandemic during the online event, without naming any specific leaders.

The celebration was followed by a second, star-studded prime-time ceremony for high school students in which the former president continued along the same lines, telling students to step up where leaders had failed.

He said: “If the world is going to get better, it’s going to be up to you.”

"Doing what feels good, what’s convenient, what’s easy - that’s how little kids think.

"Unfortunately, a lot of so-called grown-ups, including some with fancy titles and important jobs, still think that way, which is why things are so screwed up.

Awww same old shit different day, fourth year in a row, but here, what about this, this is quality, not like any of that other cut down crap, this is pure good gear, total mental buzz like:

I guess this list of memes, rants, bad videos, twitter links, etc., means I should do “my own research”?
Or is this the definitIon of “quality journalism” now?
Looks like we are truly fcuked, so. Albeit we probably disagree on the reasons for being fcuked.

Rhetorically speaking as such, you might need to widen sources to calibrate for the next 6 month of crazy, otherwise you may have to reduce social interactions, like golfing with really great people:

“We’re in the midst of something that’s pretty serious right now and the fact that he’s trying to politicise it and make it a campaign rally and say we’re administering the most tests in (the) world like it is a contest - there’s something that just is terrible,” the Northern Irishman said on the McKellar Golf podcast.

"It’s not the way a leader should act.

“I don’t know if he’d want to play with me again after what I just said, but I wouldn’t (play with him again).”

Maybe the best thing to do is practice some social blindnessing - a subset of social distancing, it utilises the “close eyes” technique, it can be further enhanced by placing the respective index finger in each ear hole to reduce the spread of Trumps un-leader-like chaos and horror output, but it is not recommend to try this while driving or golfing or both.

Howard Stern deplorables moment by proxy.

In his latest attack on Donald Trump and his MAGA fanbase, Howard Stern said that he hates the president’s supporters just as much as the president does. On the Tuesday episode of his SiriusXM show, Stern suggested that Trump is only a fan of “celebrities” and doesn’t actually like those who support him.

“The oddity in all of this is the people Trump despises most, love him the most,” Stern said. "The people who are voting for Trump for the most part… he wouldn’t even let them in a fucking hotel. He’d be disgusted by them. Go to Mar-a-Lago, see if there’s any people who look like you. I’m talking to you in the audience. The Trump voter who idolizes the guy, he despises you, despises you.”

…Stern continued to take aim at Trump supporters, saying that he doesn’t hate Trump, only those who voted for him. “I hate you for voting for him, not having intelligence,” he said.

Stern went on to explain that while he’s not a big fan of him right now, if Trump quit as president, he could see them being friends again.

… "Over more than two centuries, the United States has stirred a very wide range of feelings in the rest of the world: love and hatred, fear and hope, envy and contempt, awe and anger,” the columnist Fintan O’Toole wrote in the Irish Times. “But there is one emotion that has never been directed towards the US until now: pity.”
