Scenes of a snow covered Phoenix Park in Dublin.

On Good Friday, snowfall across Ireland set the scene for a White Easter. The Met Office is predicting more snow, sleet and frost across Ireland over the Easter weekend.

The Phoenix Park wildlife deer, ducks and swans had little traffic to bother them in their snow-covered natural habitat.

An RTÉ News report broadcast on 28 March 1975. This clip is mute.

The same old trick of using the data from one station to guestimate the temperatures for an area the size of the Antarctic!
Then making the assumption that the globe is warming up due to a few widely spaced weather stations, some of which have been proven to be compromised by human factors.

For example being located close to exhaust systems or concrete.

You sound like one of those anti-pro-science denier cult members conspiracy theorists.

You’d want to watch that, you might end up having all your social credit liquidated into a Soylent neutral crypto project for humanity.

Yes I’ve noticed that creeping in lately, thankfully this site is well moderated.

As I was mentioning the latest mickey mouse college last week, received this sh*te in my inbox today:

TU Dublin are offering CPD hours to participate in a one-hour interactive workshop on sustainability reporting. Through TU Dublin and our involvement in an Erasmus + project entitled Integrated Reporting and Education for Sustainability , we are in a position to offer CPD hours to engage in our EU Green Taxonomy for SMEs interactive survey. As part of this event, attendees will obtain a high-level overview of sustainability reporting, current situation and future outlook along with the implementation of a practical example. Participants would then be requested to undertake a 10 minute survey before the session is completed.

EU Green Taxonomy 2022

The EU taxonomy is a classification system, establishing a list of environmentally sustainable economic activities. It is intended to facilitate a significant increase in sustainable investment within the EU and the implementation of the European green deal. The EU taxonomy provides companies, investors and policymakers with appropriate definitions of environmentally sustainable economic activities. The taxonomy will be implemented in over 49,000 companies across the EU from January 2023. The European Commission has indicated the intention to extend this reporting requirement a much wider range of companies, ultimately including SMEs, with suggestions it may take place as soon as 2026.

“Its a Disaster”: Aussie Noise Nuisance Court Defeat Panicking Renewable Energy Investors

“This is a pretty dramatic outcome, I have to say.
“This court decision certainly changes the risk appetite for investors.
“I think there’ll be some fairly serious ramifications off the back of this.”

https://www.prageru.com/video/how-much-energy-will-the-world-need

Are we heading toward an all-renewable energy future, spearheaded by wind and solar? Or are those energy sources wholly inadequate for the task? Mark Mills, Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of The Cloud Revolution , compares the energy dream to the energy reality.

The less it makes sense the more it appeals to the segment of society that is motivated by approval from ‘official’ society.

https://dailysceptic.org/why-i-am-still-a-climate-change-sceptic/

Climate change is now a fixed part of our national psyche, as is Covid, and perhaps not surprisingly, a lot of features are shared. Perhaps the main connection is that both topics are very dependent on computer models for their illustration and projection, and are widely open to media exaggeration.

I would suggest two things are important. One is that we realise that for the last 12,000 years, our climate has been changing gradually after the last glacial advance. Secondly, that during this period there have been distinct warm and cold periods that have persisted for several decades or even centuries. The most prominent of these periods have been warm conditions at the start of the Roman occupation of Britain, the early Medieval period and the last 150 years: distinctly cold periods occurred from AD 350 to 850, the ‘Little Ice Age’ lasting from about 1500 to 1700 and then most of the 19th century. Even within these periods, there were groups of years where warmer or cooler conditions prevailed.
