Went down to the seafront to watch Ireland v Germany at the weekend and counted the tell-tale signs of 3 recent urinating events in the stretch from the DART bridge to the top of Warburton Terrace (about 100 yards). And it was nowhere near closing time. Caveat Emptor!

Phoenix Hill, aka the Adams Family summer house. Went to see it before the Alsop auction a few years ago. Don’t know how they measure the declared acreage, unless it’s on the vertical plane - the house is built on a long cliff edge. How was the viewing? Know someone who had been interested when it was in Allsop, but at a much lower figure than it sold for. No doubt they would have even less interest now but will make a good conversation piece.
