Flippin' heck

You assume I am a perma-bull because I have accurately predicted the direction of the market for the last number of years. Maybe at heart I am a bear who is happy to challenge his own basis

Wilfield is strange, 2 of them sold and resold within a year for almost the same price no 20 and no 5. I viewed no 17 which sold got 510. It was bid up from 450 I think. OK for rental but didn’t appeal as ppr. Backs on to the dart.
Hard to believe people moved in then decided it wasn’t for them and then resold for same price in 2 separate cases

Falling as so many do, into the trap/cheapskate solution of dumping 10 tonne of pea-shingle onto the front garden. Insta-drive.

What a 'mare to have to trudge over with a few bags of shopping / home after a few down the local.

Slightly off topic - does anyone know where I can buy chairs like the ones in photos 10 and 11 in Henley Cottage?

The design is the Hans Wegner ‘Wishbone Chair’ - they’re probably reproductions, which are widely available on various knock-off websites and shops. CA Design in Ranelagh and Cult Interiors on Dublin’s outskirts sell reproductions of them, though their products aren’t cheap - you would probably get them cheaper on reputable UK furniture websites. Shop around!

On a side note, they look horrendous in that kitchen - totally wrong wood.

Wishbone chairs?, dunnes considered range were doing a version of these last year, not sure if they still are,
Meadows and byrne seem to stock similar

Sorry crossed post

Many thanks for the info on the chairs. Agree with you SoCoDu about them not suiting that kitchen!

Re 46 Larkfield Ave, Harolds Cross, D6w
That is an odd renovation and flip.
It’s been paved entirely at the back and 2 ensuites added, probably also adding the main bathroom upstairs. Would not appeal to most families in that condition.
BER is good. It looks like it’s been upgraded to rent out . But at 595 it would involve a hefty deposit and can’t see the mortgage covered with the rent even at current rates?
I also can’t remember seeing it for sale last year but If it sold for 440 it can’t have been in rag order.

What’s the collective noun for Beige. A bucket of, a bevvy of…
