This bridge was part of a 'deal between Harry Blaney and Bertie Ahern in 1997 and is only finished now .
It proves that Bertie is utterly useless , 12 years to build a feckin bridge ??
Damn fine bridge though , Shame about the rest of the north coast route which is comprised of 2 ( Now Defunct ??) ferries across Loughs Swilly and Foyle which leave this bridge stranded majestically in north Donegal .
