Access to public places will no longer be restricted to people who can prove they have been vaccinated or have recovered from the coronavirus.

Or will it be temporary?

“The return to normal is with an asterisk” and authorities will continue to monitor the sitatuion, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said. “Of course, if there is an outbreak we will have to go backward.”

There will be no hiding place.

IMO there’s zero likelihood of business owners insisting on vaccine protocols beyond the very short term.

The rush was always going to be to get as many vaccinated between the end of the elderly/at risk cohort having been vaccinated and the reopening of society proper. That’s the phase we’re in at the minute.

As soon as things reopen proper, it’s over. Any attempts to reimpose restrictions thereafter will be within an entirely different context and will undermine the vaccination process itself ie why get vaccinated if is of zero practical benefit?

The Israeli experience referenced above would appear to bolster this argument.

Now what you’re doing, is talking sense.

A sensible reaction and sensible precautions.

I am not convinced our government are sensible.
