Kung Flu - Gaming the Matrix?

Which is scarier for a conspiracy theorist - that there’s a conspiracy that we can track down and assign blame for, or that no one’s in control ?

Think about Bill Gates. If you have $100 billion. You can control everything in your life. You’re bored and a bit of a sociopath. So you’d spend your time looking for unexpected shocks that could kill you but you could plan for. So you buy a bunker etc. A pandemic is an obvious thing for Bill Gates to be wargaming and thinking about. It sounds like an outrageous conspiracy to us because we’re midgets. He can control so much in his life there’s nothing left to worry about. His pandemic musings are as suspicious as me looking into life assurance in 2015 and dying in 2020. It doesn’t mean I knew it was coming early. I just had enough money to be worried.

Worth a listen. Listen at 1.5x or 1.75x speed if short of time.

Please stop with this OpenWindow inspired rhetoric. The world is not going to change dramatically after this event. People lived in fear before, and got through it, and returned to much the same life and patterns they had before. We already have been through world wars, a great depression, 2008, and decades under a system of MAD, threat of total nuclear annihilation, and the specter of Soviet Tank Armies sitting waiting to overrun Europe. I’m still waiting for the NWO and the Black Helicopters.

Sure there are going to be changes in our daily lives. We are going to go through a pretty torrid time worldwide in the next 4-5 months, but once the first wave passes, widespread testing and disease surveillance (with local lockdown efforts if needed) will allow many people to return to a life much like they had before (see China).

There will be a hue and cry over patient privacy and data retention related to these efforts. But they will happen as we already know they work, and cheaper than a repeat of country-wide lockdowns for a second wave.

Tourism and business travel will resume, maybe not to the numbers before, but will recover in time.

Billions will pour into epidemiology and related disciplines: first SARS, then MERS, now COVID19. What is coming next? Antivaxxers will hammered down - that utter bs can’t be tolerated any longer.

I would say that he deserves to be castrated, but I’d say he already has been.

Just because you can find on internet something to agree with your view doesn’t mean anything.

Now you said

I said. No look with your eyes. The complete opposite is happening. And you have no response other than the Castrato in Japan.

@Aegis I fixed your post from passive to active.

While we are not currently holding auditions for moderators, we sincerely appreciate your passion and recognise your ability but we think your skillset would be more suited to a dramatic role perhaps in the performing arts, as opposed to day to day operational duties of level 1 forum technician operative.

#9

What makes you say that?

I mean, I’ve seen this speculation, it is an interesting and appealing idea to some, but I have not seen the evidence.

Do you really think that he might be a deliciously evil switch and bait, straight out of the playbook of the ancient regime to iterate their flavour of global tyranny into the hyper digital age in a manner that is broadly acceptabple to the masses without much or any detection?

#10

We haven’t been drinking, have we?

#11

For many that would read as the perfect summary of the NWO globalist cabal to date.

Ah that looks like the “Solution” in David Ickes, Problem, Reaction, Solution popularised aphorism.

Hammer down, do you mean hunker down?

What “utter” bullshit can not be tolerated anymore?

Hammering or Hunkering?

I only raise a glass when the ban hammer falls for the last time. :dipso:

I’m intrigued (really).

So I have to ask where WW2 fits in this?

#14

I follow a few right wing black people on Twitter (don’t ask) It’s interesting to read them go nuts over the last day or two. They’re still at the ‘its just flu’ stage. It will be interesting to see cognitively how they cope.

I think there is such a thing as Covid Derangement Syndrome which manifests as one or all of the following

  • ‘we’ve gone soft. Deaths happen !’
  • ‘it’s just the flu !’
  • ‘it was all planned !’

#15

Problem, Reaction, Solution. ‘How is this different to what would happen without a conspiracy?’

Love the knowing dead pan delivery of this guy. Found it hilarious at times.

#16

Or maybe this is Problem, Reaction, Solution:

Gordon Brown calls for global government to tackle coronavirus

#17

Or maybe for Gordon it’s
Problem

  • View through a lifetime dirigiste mindset
  • Desperately try to fit problem into mindset
  • Desperately try to avoid any blame for your framework of outsourcing and globalization thats made problem worse
  • Suggest entirely predictable response for Gordon Brown
  • Trigger conspiracy theorists

#18

I officially win at armchair psychology. I said it was about control :joy:

#19

And who is getting banned first?

Problem, Reaction, Solution

#20

If that even happens.

No one can agree domestically on even something as relatively simple as Irish reunification. We’ve only been looking at that for 800 years.

Gordon Brown has urged world leaders to create a temporary form of global government to tackle the twin medical and economic crises caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The former Labour prime minister, who was at the centre of the international efforts to tackle the impact of the near-meltdown of the banks in 2008, said there was a need for a taskforce involving world leaders, health experts and the heads of the international organisations that would have executive powers to coordinate the response.

And I want a pony,

I remember Brown in 2008. Great idea.
Its always a great idea.

Two days ago the UK enacted its coronavirus emergency powers act, despite only days before having downgraded this coronavirus from High Consequence Infectious Disease (HCID) to simply Infectious Disease (like flu or cold) having low overall mortality. 359 pages of legislation and schedules. Normally such legislation takes years to develop and push through parliament. But the coronavirus threat to Britain was only acknowledged as recently as January. Are we supposed to believe the legislation was developed in a couple of months? No way, which supports the original poster’s thesis that this ‘crisis’ has been thoroughly planned.

Note regarding application of the legislation to Northern Ireland: The legislation defines infection as meaning infection by the specific virus causing covid-19. ‘Spread of infection’, however, can refer to any type of infection, it could be a simply a cold. In practice this enables the authorities to detain people (or restrict them in other ways) simply for having a cold.

#22

You’re a crazy conspiracy theorist.

#23

Interesting, sounds a bit patriot-act-esque, on that note, has anyone looked any of the emergency legislation passed in Ireland by the interim puppet government?

Ron Paul release video and then Rand Paul tested positive.
