wow, words couldn’t describe this house. Wow the basement must be a dungeon and the facade resembles - actually I don’t even know what.

Sometimes I question the Planning system in the country. Yes grant planning but at least make the building habitable and if the design is pretty different at least make it look semi-modern.

Yes, it’s frustrating - they could have designed something cool and they went and put the living room in the basement (along with the scary dungeon rooms :open_mouth: ) and did that to the facade. The brick, stone edging and roof are an attempt to reflect the surrounding architecture I’m sure but they just don’t work!

Edited to add one positive note - the timber cladding on the side of the car hole is nice.
