Historically more boys are born than girls, that is everywhere over time. Then they go off an fight wars and buy honda civics and it evens itself out.

Here are the Birth Stats for Q3 2009. Some really weird numbers in this , eg Fingal. The most fertile and fecund part of the breeding stock is in the Midlands and Pale.

I have 2 girls. My household region is completely abnormal. :wink:

Edit, I also see the midlands are the most fertile. Fuck all else to do there I suppose.

Feck sake. What are we in Kerry supposed to do with 270 girls, almost as many as the 280 boys? They are no good to us as they cannot play for Kerry in 20 years time!

Any whisperings down there that a certain team might ‘throw’ a game or two to allow Tyrone be relegated?

On the stats, anything that might skew the figures?
Any correlation with unemployment figures?

Any possibility it’s to do with culture? Certain cultures - Indian, Chinese - favour male over female children. Only other possibility is hormones…
