To further protect yourself make sure you install an anonymising proxy like Tor before you upload it

This will sort of make the connection between you and wikileaks impossible to trace.

Finally make sure that the information you upload is NOT a word.doc or an excel.xls , these leave traces of the author hidden inside .

Use a free app like pdf995 to create a pdf of the original , the only identifier in there is the windows logon you use on your home pc , if you log in as user that is fine but if you log in as john smith that is not a good idea…it would appear in the document properties under creator . Create another user with a meaningless name on the pc before you print to pdf and you will be just fine .

The best program for an anonymous list of names and numbers is notepad.exe and paste the data in there before saving as a .txt file and uploading that to wikileaks .

This gets valuable information into the public domain where the long suffering tax payer may see it and protects the person who releases the information.

Both are equally important . Leave it week before you tell anybody about it , this increases the chance that someone will happen across it and save you the bother of mentioning it …ever.

Best to copy to a notepad document. and get it on a USB stick. then go to an Internet cafe and upload that you don’t normally use, and also don’t sign in to any of your hotmail/gmails while you’re on ]

If the USB ports are blocked then use the DVD-RW that most computers use to burn yourself a cd.

Last option : use an encrypter to encrypt a zip file and upload it to a file hosting site , then download from the Internet cafe, switch cafes and then do what you will.

Beware of using flash drives. May be best to write the inciminating stuff to a CD-ROM and upload from there? Or do a multi-stage process.
