If your going to spend that sort of cash and you want to live in the area then IMHO you should buy one of the better houses on Griffith Avenue, to me this estate is just that, an estate, nice house but the appeal of the area among other things is the leafiness and class of Griffith Avenue, this estate just doesn’t have it. The cheapest house on Griffith Avenue recently was 350k, spend 200k on major work and you have a house exactly as you want with much more snob appeal. It’s amazing how by walking a few 100 metres the athmosphere of an area can change dramatically, this place is a good example, my recommendation avoid especially at that price.
Thanks for opinion Grace. i do like griffith avenue, and so yea maybe waiting for one to crop up there might be a better bet…
There is a well known criminal living in Griffith Downs?
Well “Rambo” Burke certainly does/did live there.
I suppose a spell in the nick does classify him as a criminal?
Pleading guilty to making false tax returns would classify him as a criminal
