The vendors, clearly insulted by my offer have withdrawn the house from sale…

Maybe its a blessing in disguise.

We were going ahead with a purchase on the north side of the city for 115k ,it was renovated so seemed the easiest choice but had to pull out.We are now buying similar house for 85k and can renovate to our own liking with cash we saved and don’t have to pay interest on it.

As a totally uneducated guess id say they prob end up selling it for 200k when they get desperate .
