€700k for a small 2 bed house with dated interior and a sitting room that struggles to accommodate 2 small sofas. Bargain.

But sure you could sit on that sofa an stare at that magnolia wall, Jesus wouldn't that be brilliant Ted!

A 26 million euro house in Limerick!

(If you read the article and not just the headline, it's really a 1.1m euro house, but never mind).

One for the Flippin' Heck thread (edit: do we have a reverse-flip thread? :) ):
Quote:
He purchased it in 2014 for an undisclosed price after it went on the market for €1.1m.
It was sold by property developer Aidan Brooks who purchased it in 2007 for €26m making it one of the country’s most expensive properties.

Pyrotechical planning; very popular in this country with pesky protected structures :D

Having just posted something in the 'is that value' thread, here's one for this thread:

https://www.dng.ie/residential/brochure ... -6/3780273

On first glance, it mightn't seem too bad (650k for 121 m2), but take a closer look. The 'dining room' (part of the main/only living room) is measured at an impressive 24m long......... Without that, the mews halves in size........

16 Gilford Terrace, Sandymount, Dublin 4

https://www.myhome.ie/residential/brochure/16-gilford-terrace-sandymount-dublin-4/3986619

€524,950 for 50 m2 = €10,499pm2 (or €975 pft2)

No Garden. No off street parking. Needs work. No BER (not clear why).

Bargin!
