I see that it all turned out alright on the night for Carol despite not getting elected to either the Dail or the Seanad

Sipo has also referred Carol Hunt, who is a special advisor to Minister for Transport Shane Ross but ran as a candidate for the Independent Alliance, to gardaí.
This is for failing to complete her election expenses statement appropriately.
Ms Hunt also ran in the Seanad elections and was referred to gardaí again for failing to provide the necessary information to Sipo.

Lets hope she's better at the paperwork in her current job than she was at making returns after the elections

A different negative equity article

I’m still in negative equity – get me out of here

We bought our Athlone home in July 2007. Within months it had dropped €90,000 in value. Now we can't move on because we can't muster the 20 per cent deposit needed
