Kenny is so wooden and stilted he should be sponsored by Ronseal.

Just get rid of him, wait for the Kenny-shaped vacuum to disappear and sponsor cheaper newer talent.

Call the cunt's bluff.

Paying him a fortune is just another bailout for property developers as he funds his crappy investments from his huge salary.

+1. Let him go, and see what happens to him. I am guessing he will vanish.

His last hurah would surely be an autobiography, of which he will endeavour to sign as many copies as possible, in as many bookshops as possible, such that they can not be returned to the publishers unsold.

Harcourt
Mike Murphy's new show.

Not disagreeing with anything above and not normally a fan but I've been pretty well entertained by the Frontline Prez debate Monday night and his radio show Tuesday but maybe that's more to do with Sean Gallagher. But I have been impressed at Kenny's return to current affairs. Still needs a drastic pay reduction though, whatever TV3 might realistically match

At least Pat Kenny is reasonably profilic presenting a DAILY high profile radio show plus Frontline on TV.

Do NOT get me started on Marian Finucane.......but I WILL say one thing..............

She has ZERO credibility as a journalist or "voice of the people". Sack her.

I think the article in the indo is pretty misleading though. They are on about having to take a cut of up to 30% of their 2008 salaries; none of them are on those high salaries anymore since they took cuts last year. (although I'm not sure about FF Tubridy).

I'm sure this point has been made on this thread numerous times but there probably isn't a professional footballer earning more than €1000 a week in Ireland. I agree with Pat. His pay should be in line with professional footballers.

Not quite true FB2 anyone who's contract was up for renegotiation last year took a pay cut. Typical contract lenght was three years so some are up for the chop this year. Watch out for a lot more whinging as the usual suspects (and some of the lesser paid presenters) get hammered. 30% is the target but some will lose a lot more!!

I agree so hard it hurts. I wish I could earn that much money for doing so little - what a sweet deal the bauld Marion enjoys.
